Every
day water becomes more and more precious and rare.
Use in industrial cooling systems, where not expressly
prohibited by law, is very expensive. The solution
which has been adopted recently to respond to
the lack of water, is the cooling of water in
circuits through evaporation towers. Open evaporation
towers are constantly in need of maintenance and
they are cause of frequent service interruptions.
The main cause of such problems is the presence
of mineral salts in the water which has to be
integrated into the system. These minerals cause
scaling and sludge that highly reduce the efficiency
of the heat exchange on cooled surfaces.

Advantages
of Hitema coolers
|
|
HITEMA
coolers, series HFC vertically
(H) or horizontally
(V) develloped, has been designed for raising
heat exchange, by means of several fans on whole
surface (not with only one an in the middle) in
order to get constant air speed into the heat
exchanger.

-
They
can be installed in areas where there is no water
available: only the initial circuit charge will
be necessary.
-
The
water used for cooling circulating in a perfectly
sealed circuit is not contaminated, therefore there
is no increase in possible mineral contents with
no subsequent decrease in heat exchange.
-
Maintenance
costs of the heat exchange equipments and service
are eliminated.
-
Cooling
unit constant efficiency is ensured over the time.
-
Water
temperature is lowered to a few degrees above the
temperature of dry air bulb.
-
Heat
recovery is pade possible.
-
With
the addition of an antifreeze substance in the circuit
water, the installation is possible even in environments
with temperatures far below freezing.
