HITEMA's Design and Research Department has developed a range of products with high industrial process standards, and has verified their reliability and effectiveness by conducting thermal and acoustic tests on the chillers with both air and water condensation. The cooling performances were recorded in compliance with the international certification specifications of EUROVENT, using the

instruments and software available at the HITEMA Research Center, which provides for the acquisition and processing of the following data: flow rate, pressure, temperature, electrical measurements, with Z-PC modules.
The PC and software system Z-DATA RECORDER acquired the data, recorded it and displayed the measurement values. When the recording/testing process was completed, the data was made available in an Excel file.

These new-generation chillers differ from the previous models in the following respects:
- lower energy consumption and improved performances, thanks also to the new scroll compressors;
- they are less noisy and generate fewer vibrations;
- different types of refrigerant gas can be used;
- they are compatible with the previous range of coolers;
- they can reach powers of up to 1000kW;
- hydronic circuit materials according to application requirements;
- stainless steel (Aisi), carbon steel (Fe360), copper (Cu);
- with or without back-up tank;
- they are designed to accommodate a double hydrothermal circuit managed by a microprocessor;
- perfect control of process fluid temperature;
- sound pressure level extremly reduced.

The new chillers are more energy-efficient, more silent and more compact machines.
The refrigerating circuits have been designed to improve the machine's efficiency by reducing the leakage of the internally circulating gas.

The low-noise performance has been achieved thanks to the compact design and the smaller number of moving parts.

The mechanical precision of the production processes, combined with the new electronic controls for the motor-powered fans, compressors and pumps, have resulted in a reduction of the inertial force, of the noises generated by the machine, and of the vibrations, which have been further dampened by the new flexible supports for the moving parts.
